Rock Off Fest poster

Check out the official word from the promoter:

Now entering its second year, ROCKOFF Festival will be held at the Carling Academy, Islington on the 27th July with an even more outstanding lineup. Starting at 2pm there will be two stages running throughout the day, showcasing some of the finest new talent from the Rock and Metal scene.

The Main Stage will be headlined by British success story, Pitchshifter, Gibraltan sensation, Breed 77 and super-group, This is Menace. The Second stage will show Exit Ten supported by a handful of the best British unsigned acts around.

Pitchshifter have shared the stage with legends of Rock, Black Sabbath, Deftones and the Lost Prophets. They have played main stage at the Reading Music Festival and toured the UK, USA & Europe on Ozzfest and Warped Tour. Certainly an explosive and notorious live show which saw crowds take the stage at the Phoenix festival.

Breed 77 are originally from Gibraltar but formed in London, where they now reside. The anglo-hispanic hybrid shows in the mix of metal with the Mediterranean. The band are now onto their forth album and have had great success, even making the UK top-40.

This Is Menace is a unique concept for a super-group. Whilst the instrumental aspects of the band remain the same, vocals are provided by some of the best vocalists in the industry; Matt Davies (Funeral for a Friend), Justin Hill (Sikth), Charlie Simpson (Fightstar), B’Hellmouth (Send More Paramedics)

Evile are storming UK & Europe with their classic blend of Thrash metal

Marshall Law are internationally acclaimed metalheads from the UK. They formed in 1988 and have reformed this year, expect great things and check out their new album..

Exit Ten, fresh from Download 08, have been main supports for Deftones and Avenged Sevenfold and are rapidly becoming a big name on the British Metal scene, look out for their new album release!.

On the new band scene look out for Idiom after their support tour with Skindred.
